Kim Hefner has been a mortgage loan officer at Home Federal Bank for over thirteen years and has been in the home building industry for more than 25 years.
Home Federal Bank joined the Home Builders Association in 1959.
Kim is involved with many HBASE committees. She has served on the Parade of Homes Committee for over 25 years and the Membership/Retention Committee for over 15 years . Kim has previously worked on the Street of Dreams Committee, Scholarship Fundraiser Committee and the PR Committee. She is currently the treasurer for HBASE, serves as a board member for the SDHBA, and is South Dakota’s Associate National Director to NAHB.
"HBASE has been vital to my business, as the contacts I've made have resulted in many successful business transactions. I’ve also made lifelong friends through the HBASE and cherish those people a great deal," said Kim.
Kim is a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church, past chair of the new construction division at United Way, teaches Junior Achievement and is currently a very active member of the WHS Chorus Booster program. Helping HBASE and Ronald McDonald charities come together to construct a new 18 room house was a very proud time for this association, and Kim was very excited to have a small part in the process.
A proud mother, Kim has two children (Jordan and Ali ) whom she considers her two best friends. In her spare time, Kim enjoys golfing, scrap booking, fantasy football, traveling and many, many sports.
