HomeFront This official event publication is printed monthly by the Argus Leader and distributed in their newspaper. This publication reaches many consumers. Special issues are printed for the Home Show, Street of Dreams, Parade of Homes and Showcase of Remodeled Homes. Only members are able to advertise. If you are a member, contact the Argus Leader for advertising rates. If you are not a member, contact the HBASE Office (361-8322) for membership information.

Home Ideas Magazine Members have the exclusive opportunity to advertise in the Home Ideas Magazine, which serves as the official industry publication. This HBASE sponsored publication is a home-related magazine, printed monthly and distributed at HyVee, Lewis Drug and Gas Stop. Promotional Shows

Market your company to the general public and/or HBASE members by participating in one of our shows.

The Sioux Empire Home Show Held annually in March at the convention center. This show allows exhibitors to reach thousands of consumers. Members receive a $150.00 discount on their booth. For exhibit information, contact the HBASE office (361-8322).

The Parade of Homes Held semi-annually in the spring and fall. Builder members open newly constructed homes to the public. Associate members are also recognized at the homes for their contributions.

The Showcase of Remodeled Homes Held annually in the fall. The public will have the opportunity to view homes that have been remodeled and entered in the show by remodeling members.

The Annual Product Show Held annually in October. Associate members exhibit their products and services to builder members and prospective builder members at the Oaks Hotel.

Street of Dreams- July 21-24, & 28-31, 2005, will be the start of this annual event. New housing developments will be chosen every year to be put on display. The public is welcome to view these new, fully furnished, fully decorated homes that showcase builder members' innovative design, technology and decor.

Sponsorships

The HBASE offers a variety of opportunities for companies to gain recognition by sponsoring an HBASE event.

  • Golf Outings: Sponsor one of the seven outings held during the summer.
  • Scholarship Fundraiser Night: Help raise money for the scholarship fund and have fun as a sponsor of this annual event.
  • Annual Installation Banquet: Sponsor appetizers, wine, dessert or door prizes at this holiday party.
  • Showcase of Remodeled Homes: Participate in this public event that allows consumers to view newly remodeled homes.
  • Annual City Bus Tour: Developer members sponsor a bus tour of the Sioux Empire and its latest housing developments.
  • Parade of Homes Receptions: Sponsor food, drinks or prizes at this reception for the members that participated in the parade.
  • Product Show: Promote your company by sponsoring this annual event that allows associate members to exhibit their companies to builders.
  • Trap Shoots: Help sponsor and organize this special social event.
  • Repair Affair: Donate materials or sponsor a meal for the volunteers that repair local homes for those in need.

Special HBASE Services

Promote your business with a tabletop display at a membership meeting, or use membership labels for mailings.

  • Tabletop Display- Three tables are available to associate members to display their businesses at the membership meetings. The tables are free and are available on a first come first serve basis. Call the HBASE office to reserve a table (361-8322).
  • Mailing Labels or Disks- Members can purchase membership mailing labels or disks. Companies can use this information to promote themselves through special mailings to other members. Labels and disks can be customized to meet your needs.
  • Membership Directories- As a member, your name and company information will be listed in our Membership Directory, which is published twice per year and distributed to the entire membership. In addition, the same information is posted on this web site.
