Repair Affair

See application for complete guidelines and qualifications but some include:
   - All repairs must be accessibility related. (examples: wheelchair ramps, grab bars, handrails, replacing door knobs to levers, toilet heights)
   - Applicant must own their home and reside in it (can not be a mobile home)
   - Applicant must be permanently disabled or be 65 years of age or older
   - Homeowner must live in Minnehaha, Lincoln, McCook or Turner county
   - Household income can not exceed guidelines set by HUD (minus any ongoing medical expenses). Proof of all household income and ongoing medical expenses is required and will be kept confidential.

On Tuesday, June 8, 2010 many HBASE volunteers from will update homes throughout the Sioux Empire by making them more accessible for the elderly and/or people with permanent disabilities, all at no cost to the homeowner!
