Multiple $1,000 scholarships to various high school graduates in the Sioux Empire area are awarded on behalf of the Sioux Empire Home Builders Care Foundation. Students applying must be pursuing careers in the construction industry, and enroll in an approved post-secondary program. Students must live in Minnehaha, McCook, Turner or Lincoln counties. Applications are reviewed by the HBASE's Education Committee. Scholarship recipients are selected in May 2012 and are awareded them in September 2012.
